So tiny, but so useful!
I needed to add a heat sink to it for my application (20v -> 6v, 600-700 ma), but it's exactly what I needed for my project... Looking forward to finding more uses for it...

Q: How many amps can this board handle?
A:
its output is 1a real world load limit, 3a for an extremely short period of time, (enough to charge a small cap), any more or longer and it drops voltage

Q: weight?
A:
Power consumption of Arduino Nano is 19ma. This buck converter is rated at 1800ma. You shouldn't have a problem.

Q: Chip?
A:
This one uses the MP2307 Switching Regulator IC. Now discontinued but has a new replacement. This chip is rated at 3 amps WITH A HEAT SINK though.

Q: anyone connected them in parallel? Can they be connected in parallel to increase the current? I know load balancing will be an issue, but perhaps a capacitor would help, plus if one convertor is overloaded it should start to drop its voltage thereby causing others to take more load. Could two or three be in parallel and output 1.8 to 2.5 amps steady with heat sinks?
A:
No you can not! For up to 3A you must use a LM2596 for step down (with heat sink) or XL5009 for step up (with heat sink)

Q: Is the output capacitor a 20uF or 10uF ? Got severe thermal issue with a 10uF, a 20uF (recommended in the data sheet of the MP 2307) solve it.
